Introduction

The Access Pearson integration tool will make accessing Pearson's MyLab, Mastering and Revel platforms easier within Ultra. The tool sets a new standard for security and enables faster delivery of core features.

Its capabilities include:

  • Single sign-on (SSO)
  • Grade sync
  • Deep linking (for MyLab/Mastering, Revel & eTextbooks)
  • Enhanced reliability
  • Simpler setup for your students

Copying a Previous Semester's Course

Follow this transition guide to set up your course in the Access Pearson tool.

Creating a New Course

  1. Locate the Access Pearson link in the Content Market in your course.
  2. Pair your course with your Pearson course, following the same steps as before, but using this new tool. You will need to provide your Pearson Educator Account username and password since this is a new tool.
  3. During the pairing process, you can create your Pearson course using the integration tool as you usually would.
  4. This process should take less than five minutes. For detailed instructions, refer to Pearson's Instructor Help pages. Select Blackboard as the LMS and then Pearson integration (also known as LTI Advantage or LTI 1.3) for guidance.

If you require assistance you can schedule a time with a Pearson faculty support specialist by clicking here. You can also visit the Pearson Faculty Support Hub for reference.
