Introduction

Akindi Importer allows users to convert Microsoft Word .docx files into Blackboard ready tests.  You can convert a variety of question sets, such as multiple choice, true/false, matching, fill-in-the-blank, and more.  Follow the quick set-up steps below:

 

Overview

  1. Open the course in which you want to place your test
  2.  Under Course Content, select the (+) icon and select Content Market
  3.  Select Akindi
  4.  Follow the prompts outlined in this web tutorial to set up your test document in Akindi
  5.  Upload the your QTI file into Blackboard:
    1. In your course, select Question Banks/Manage Banks
    2. Select the (+) icon and choose Import from file
    3.  Choose the QTI file you downloaded - select Open in the browser bar
    4.  Now you can deploy your test by selecting Create, then Test, then click on the (+) icon, then Add question pool…
    5.  From here you can select your test and deploy it to your course
