Introduction
Akindi Importer allows users to convert Microsoft Word .docx files into Blackboard ready tests. You can convert a variety of question sets, such as multiple choice, true/false, matching, fill-in-the-blank, and more. Follow the quick set-up steps below:
Overview
- Open the course in which you want to place your test
- Under Course Content, select the (+) icon and select Content Market
- Select Akindi
- Follow the prompts outlined in this web tutorial to set up your test document in Akindi
- Upload the your QTI file into Blackboard:
- In your course, select Question Banks/Manage Banks
- Select the (+) icon and choose Import from file
- Choose the QTI file you downloaded - select Open in the browser bar
- Now you can deploy your test by selecting Create, then Test, then click on the (+) icon, then Add question pool…
- From here you can select your test and deploy it to your course
