Perusall is a tool that shares content and encourages students to work and learn together. Utilizing the Perusall learning technology “increases engagement, drives collaboration, and builds community while intrinsically and extrinsically motivating students to participate" (Perusall, 2023). This article will guide you through the process of adding Perusall to your Blackboard Ultra course.

- Start by entering your Blackboard Ultra course and select the "(+)” button under course content.
- Select content market, scroll to find “Perusall” and select the “(+)” underneath the thumbnail picture. (You must click on the “(+)” to create a link in your Blackboard Ultra course.
- Conversely, you may also click on the “Books and Tools” link in the navigation pane to the left of your course content.
- Once you have added the Perusall learning technology link to your course, click on the title to open the software.
