Course Restore from BBREPO folder on OneDrive
Learn how to restore course content stored in the BBREPO folder on OneDrive, quickly and easily.

Introduction
A few weeks after every semester, courses are removed from Blackboard to prepare the content for archiving. As a result, you will not have access to the course content until IT uploads the archived files to your Georgian OneDrive in the BBREPO folder.
The video below demonstrates how you can access and import old content from previous semesters (in the form of a zip file) from your BBREPO folder or OneDrive folder.

Original Course
You can import a zip file directly into an Original live course or developmental shell (not an Ultra prep shell).
- Go to the Employee Portal on the Georgian College website and click on the application launcher (waffle) in the top left-hand corner.
- Click on OneDrive.
- Click on your BBREPO folder.
- Locate the course code (ex. TGIF1234).
- Open the folder and click on the appropriate semester folder (ex. 22F).
- Confirm that the desired course is in the folder in a zip file (ex. TGIF1234-22F-56789).
- Go to Blackboard and open your course or developmental shell.
- On the base navigation menu on the left-hand side of the screen, under Course Management, scroll down to Packages and Utilities.
- Click on Import Package / View Logs (not Import Course).
- Under Import Package / View Logs, click on the highlighted words “Import Package”.
- Under Select A Package, click on Browse Local Files.
- Navigate to OneDrive - Georgian College and follow steps 2 - 5 above to locate the archived course zip file.
- Click once on the desired course zip file and click on Open (or click twice).
- Under Select Course Materials click on Select All then click Submit.
Please note, when you click “Submit” to start the import, you cannot navigate away from the page in Blackboard, it has to remain open and untouched until you receive the purple banner at the top of the page stating an email will be sent to you when the import has been completed. You can now navigate away from the page and continue working in Blackboard.
Once you receive the email you can refresh your browser, open the course and the content will be available.
Ultra Course
You can import a zip file into an Ultra prep shell (not an Original developmental shell) then copy the content into an Ultra live course.
- Go to the Employee Portal on the Georgian College website and click on the application launcher (waffle) in the top left-hand corner.
- Click on OneDrive.
- Click on your BBREPO folder.
- Locate the course code (ex. TGIF1234).
- Open the folder and click on the appropriate semester folder (ex. 22F).
- Confirm that the desired course is in the folder in a zip file (ex. TGIF1234-22F-56789).
- Go to Blackboard and open your prep shell.
- In the Course Content area, click on the kebab (three dots) on the right hand side of the screen to open the sub-menu.
- Click on Import Content.
- Click on Import Course Content.
- Click on OneDrive.
- Click on your BBREPO folder.
- Locate the course code (ex. TGIF1234).
- Open the folder and click on the appropriate semester folder (ex. 22F).
- Click once on the desired course zip file and click on Open (or click twice).
- You will be returned to your course and, in the sub-menu, you can see the progress % of the upload of the course file.
- Once completed, the sub-menu will disappear and “Importing course content” will appear in the Course Content area.
- You can wait for the content to appear or refresh your page.
That’s it! Your course has been imported.
