Introduction
At the end of the 2024-25 academic year, Georgian’s H5P license and integration with Blackboard will not be renewed. Faculty will continue to be able to source, adapt, and create H5P content through the eCampusOntario H5P Studio.
eCampusOntario has an H5P studio that faculty across Ontario, from all public post-secondary institutions, can use to create, adapt, reuse and share H5P content (so long as the copyright allows!). Many faculty took advantage of this design space prior to Georgian integrating H5P into our own Blackboard, but then started creating directly in Blackboard. Now that our license will not be renewed, faculty are faced with having to move their content to the eCampusOntario H5P Studio if they would like to keep it.
This article will explain how to move your H5P content from Georgian's H5P integration in Blackboard into the eCampusOntario H5P studio.
